Lanre started his career in 1990 as a Trainee Copywriter at MC&A: Saatchi & Saatchi, Lagos, Nigeria. He has since then worked in different capacities as a creative in some of Nigeria’s top agencies. He was at Insight/Grey, Nigeria’s biggest agency, where he worked for six years, leaving in 2003 as an Associate Creative Director. From there he moved to TBWA\Concept as a Creative Director. He left TBWA\Concept as an Executive Creative Director in 2008 to found Noah’s Ark. In the ten years of its existence, Noah’s Ark has established itself as a leading new generation agency, emerging as the most awarded agency within and outside the shores of Nigeria.
In a career spanning over 25 years, he has created outstanding work for some of the most notable brands in Nigeria such as Indomie Noodles, MTN, Peak Milk, Three Crowns, Virgin Atlantic, Airtel and GOtv among others.
Driven by a vision to put Nigeria on the world map of advertising, Lanre is actively involved in the Nigerian creative community with a special passion for inspiring and grooming the next generation. He was part of the pioneer team that started the Lagos Advertising & Ideas Festival (LAIF) over ten years ago. He served for over a decade on the Management Board of LAIF Awards. He was also on the jury of the African Cristals Festival in 2016.
In addition to Noah’s Ark, he has also founded other related marketing communications agencies to offer clients more robust integrated services. They are Integrated Indigo Limited, a public relations agency and Underdog Productions, a content/audio-visual production outfit.×
Agatha holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Literary Studies as well as an MBA from the University of Essex. She is also a certified Subject Matter Expert from the Digital Marketing Institute, Ireland with core competency in mobile marketing and social media marketing and has over eight years of working experience in the digital industry from the client side and the agency side. Her expertise spreads across various industries like financial, e-business, online advertising and traditional advertising industries where she worked as Digital Strategist and Project Manager.
An analyst with great depth in brand dimensioning and perception communication, Agatha is very passionate about digital marketing and with her role at Wild Fusion she has helped businesses succeed in the digital space by offering return on marketing spend on real business objectives and not just “clicks & impressions”. Her strong understanding of digital marketing and project management sectors include FMCG brands, Telecom, Finance and more. Some of her latest works include taking Close Up and Knorr Nigeria online and enabling these brands succeed while increasing Returns on Marketing Spend.×
Yomi who holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Benin began his career in marketing communications in 1988 with CT & A, a Lagos based advertising agency and then became a director in 1991. YBO, as he is often called, has a strong passion for the practice of public relations in Africa. Over the years, he has proven to be a giant in the Public Relations industry with over two decades of work experience in Integrated Marketing Communications coupled with his pioneering of the perception management business in the Nigerian communication market. His experience cuts across Corporate Communications, Government Relations, Marketing PR, Financial Public Relations and Crisis Management. He is a consultant for many private and public organizations which include multinational companies and governments such as the 1st female elected President in Africa, H.E. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, the British American Tobacco Nigeria, Renaissance Group, Transcorp, Peugeot Nig. Ltd, Shell, Virgin Nigeria, Federal Inland Revenue Service, and Delta State Governments to mention a few.
His company which was established in 1992 as Nigeria’s premier perception management consulting firm that provides solution to clients and ancillary marketing communication challenges and has since then been serving its clients till date.
He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and was a past Chairman of NIPR, Lagos State Chapter. He is on the board of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) and also the current President of the African Public Relations Association (APRA), the umbrella body for the practice of public relations in Africa, which allows him the opportunity of working closely with the African Union (AU) in the areas of strategic thinking on how to improve the image and perception of Africa. Working with African Union, he birthed an initiative tagged ‘Campaign Africa’ designed to sell ‘Positive Africa’ through the instrumentality of the profession – public relations. He is also a recipient of the prestigious PR Golden Eagle Award (Male) as the Most Outstanding Public Relations Person for the Year 2010.
Jason is simply, a truly African Creative. Having worked and led projects in over 10 African countries (including Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Senegal, Cameroun and South Africa) over the span of his 15year career, Jason’s cultural perspectives on ideas and insights are as diverse as the continent’s ethnicities.
After 8 years working at Origin8 Saatchi & Saatchi and leading the team to the status of “Most awarded Agency in Ghana” year on year, over the period, Jason joined MMRS Ogilvy as Executive Creative Director where he continued to raise the bar in the industry and led MMRS Ogilvy to a comeback performance at the Advertising Association of Ghana Advertising Awards.
Shortly after a business acquisition in 2009, Jason joined the team at SCANAD Ghana and continued to nurture the team’s creative excellence, leading SCANAD Ghana to become the most awarded Agency in the country (7th & 8th Local Advertising Awards).
In his time at SCANAD Africa, Jason was jointly responsible for the creative reputations of other SCANAD Agencies in Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Ghana.
Jason has also had the privilege of serving on the Jury panel of prestigious Advertising Awards in Morocco, South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya.×
Yoann Talhouarne started his career in Toronto, Canada, at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (2009-2010), where he served as a media lawyer. He pursued his professional experience in Romania, where he was appointed Media Officer for French Institute in Bucharest (2010-2012). He then moved back to France, to become Project manager at Canal France International (2012-2014), the French Media Cooperation Agency.
He developed several projects to support media and film production, mostly in Western African countries. He was then offered a new position to become Media expert for the French Embassy in Burundi (2014-2016). He was in charge to allocate international funds to support Burundian medias to cover the 2015 election process.
In September 2017, he was hired by the French foreign Ministry to serve as regional audiovisual attaché (Benin, Cameroun, Ghana, Nigeria and Togo), based in Lagos at the French Consulate.×
Bolaji Alausa is the Executive Creative Director of Noah’s Ark.
Bolaji began his career at Rosabel Leo Burnett in 2006 and then did a five-year stint with DDB Lagos. He won the Young Lions competition in 2009 and represented Nigeria in Cannes. He moved to Noah’s Ark in 2011 as Associate Creative Director.
He has won several national awards, notably a Grand Prix at the 2015 and 2017 LAIF (Lagos Advertising & Ideas Festival). At the regional and international levels, he won two Emeralds in 2015, then three Emeralds and two Golds at the 2016 African Cristal Festival in Morocco. His Airtel data campaign titled ‘Lost’, won Gold at the Epica awards in Berlin late 2017.
He is the first Nigerian to be awarded two Cannes National Diplomas in 2013. He won Nigeria's first Epica award also in 2013 and is currently ranked 12th most published Creative Director in the world according to Lurzer’s Archive.
Bolaji is an alumnus of Yaba College where he majored in Painting, Miami Ad School where he studied Campaigns, Pan Atlantic University where he studied Digital Media, and the Berlin School of Creative Leadership where he received an EMBA in Creative Leadership.×

Bunmi Oke is a woman who in a male dominated sector has been able to standout as a shining star. She is also one of the few women in the creative industry to have climbed the ladder of success and remained on top with her performances in the industry. She is a role model to various professionals in the industry. She is a Fellow of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (highest professional level with only 4 females to date). In 2017, she was awarded Advertising Personality of the decade by the Marketing Edge Brands and Advertising Excellence Awards. As a leading professional, she has occupied various positions both in the industry and in society at large. One of such is being the past president of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), a council member at APCON and a delegate at the 2014 National Conference. She was the pioneer Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director at 141 Worldwide and led the company for 12 years and also the pioneer Chief Public Affairs Officer of NOUN where she served for 3 years. She is currently an Executive Council Member at WIMBIZ.
Bunmi has worked on several global and local brands in building campaigns and businesses in the likes of Etisalat, ( EMTS), The Coca-Cola Company brands, First Bank Plc, BAT West Africa, Cadbury’s Tom Tom & Bournvita Accounts, DSTV – Multichoice Nigeria, Western Union, Unilever’s Close-Up, WAMCO’s Three Crowns milk etc to mention a few. She also has cogent understanding of the media landscape in Nigeria as a former client service/media director in LTC/JWT and as CPAO in NOUN.×
Suziette is proactive with the end in mind. A term she likes to use to show how determined she is in the pursuit of creativity. Her experience spans wide and far in the creative world as she is a graduate of Theatre Arts from the prestigious University of Benin. She practiced as a practitioner for 4years and in 2007 she got a certificate in Integrated brand experience from Orange Academy and trained with TBWA as a Copywriter working on brands like UAC products, Swift broad band, Mr Bigg’s and other notable brands. Her skills caught the attention of ‘Worldwriters’ in 2011 and she has since being a copy/transcreation consultant for Tag Worldwide and Oliver marketing; London agencies working on brands like Duracell, Intel, Facebook Zero, Infinix, amongst others.
She moved on to other notable agencies Like FKG2, Cosse, Bluebird and briefly returned back to TBWA\Concept, writing for brands like Mobitel, Stanbic IBTC, SFH, Chivita, CHI Exotic, UAC, GLO, Cowbell, Tecno and other notable brands before venturing into concept development and in 2012, worked as the Marketing Development Manager for Kissmix alcoholic cocktail drink with Charvet Nig Ltd. She left shortly after for her MSc in Media Communication via scholarship at the prestigious School of Media and Communication, Pan Atlantic University and thereafter, took a short diploma course with Miami Ads School on Storytelling, Integrated Concepting and Concept development. She moved back to advertising copywriting and content development but this time, she also wrote content for online. Brands she worked on are and not limited to adidas, Tecno, Palmchat, UNICEF, Purple, Alara and WhiteOlive; as a freelancer with various agencies. She also carried out brand activations for both online and offline purpose. She took a short Business course, Road 2 Growth with Enterprise Development Centre and won a free certificate training with Lagos Business School on Strategic Innovation and Business Development.

Started my early years in Advertising as an illustrator, prior to then, had worked as freelance artists for reputable Nigerian Ad agencies like SO&U Saatchi, Bates Cosse( Now Cosse Joe Public), FKG2, to name a few and a couple of Video/ Animation Production Houses like Nantoons Studios and Genesis Studios in the capacity of an illustrator/2D animator. Also, I
worked for Litramed Publication House as a Comic Book Illustrator.
Creating Story Boards and motion graphics was the hustle I used to support myself through college where I was studying Fine Arts at the School of Art, Design and Printing-Yaba College of Technology.
During one of my illustration escapades I met Mr. Yomi Omotehinwa of Bates Cosse and there, I picked an interest in Advertising as a career. I got hired a couple years later and few months after my return from NYSC by Cosse Joe Public, Spent a couple of years with them as a Visualizer/Illustrator
then proceeded to work with Steve Babaeko at X3M Ideas as Art Director, working and managing brands like Etisalat, Access bank, Chivas, Martell, Diamond Bank, 9Mobile etc.
Presently I work at Yellow Brick Road as Group Head, Creative, creating magic for brands like MTN, WAPIC and more.×
Shaibu, Husseini holds a Bachelors of Science degree, a Post Graduate Diploma and a Master of Science degree in Mass Communication from the Lagos State University, University of Nigeria and the University of Lagos respectively. He has considerable experience in Culture and Film Journalism, in broadcasting as well as in Pubic Relations and Advertising. A member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the Advertising Practitioners Council (APCON), Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN) and several other professional bodies, Shaibu is currently a Doctoral Student, a Fellow at the Department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos and an Assistant Director and Head of Public Relations and Advertising at the National Troupe of Nigeria.
As a fellow of the department of Mass Communication, Shaibu who is published in local and international journals, teaches film, broadcast, Public Relations and advertising courses. His current research interest is in the evaluation of Power Structure and Economics of Broadcast and Motion picture production.×
Bada Akintunde-Johnson is an eclectic individual with multifarious areas of talent and expertise across the Media and Creative industries landscape. He is currently Country Manager for Viacom International Media Networks Africa where he looks after brands such as MTV Base, BET, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central in the Nigerian Market.
As a creative, he is a multiple award-winning Creative Director whose career highlight was winning local and international acclaim for various award-winning advertising campaigns run for Globacom at SOU over a period of 4 years. The awards include multiple Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival and Cristal awards. With his works he helped establish the telecommunications giant as the most talked about in its category in the period for the quality of its advertising. He also helped the agency keep the business for double the previous record period by any agency since the business started almost two decades ago.
Previously he had also written successful advertising campaigns and delivered great digital and offline assets for brands such as Guinness, Stanbic Ibtc Bank, Harp, Malta Guinness, FCMB, Skye Bank, Adidas, ExxonMobil, Conoil, Access bank, Mr Biggs, Lagos City Marathon, Vitafoam, Indomie and many other top brands while working for advertising agencies such as Tbwa Concepts and Centrespread FCB.
In the media he worked as the Creative Manager of Hitv, Nigeria's biggest indigenous pay-tv platform for some time creating channel branding and communication services for what was the second biggest investment ever in the media in Nigeria.
Bada is also a popular on-air personality who has worked extensively as a presenter and producer of radio and television Sports programs. He is one of Nigeria’s most respected soccer pundit who has worked as analyst on competitions such as the UEFA Champions league, the FIFA World Cup, the Premier league and a lot more prime soccer properties. He used to host his own shows Finalscore and Football Hangout which ran for many quarters on Lagos stations City 105.1fm and Radio Continental 102.3FM respectively. He has also hosted shows that were syndicated across the country and was commentator at a world cup qualifier match between Cote d'Ivoire and Sierra leone .
Bada also has experience in the music space as a talent manager and a record label exec having been at some point co-owner of a record label and a talent management company Peaceville Entertainment where he managed among many others, Mavin superstar singer Dija, rapper Vector tha Viper, Samklef, Cleo Thelma and Egar Boi. He was also partner at Ascend talent studios which manages actors such as Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva, OC Ukeje, Joselyn Dumas, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Chris Attoh among other big names.
He is obsessed with winning the right way. He likes to go hard in the boardroom and play hard outside it. He is very passionate about touching lives positively and changing the mindsets that have held Africa down over the years. He loves to read, watch soccer, play Pro evolution soccer on PS4 and sing for relaxation.×

Young Professionals Academy ... meet some of the faculty members
Graduated in Linguistics and Literature, and post-graduate in Communications, Antonio Bechtle (Lima, 1974) took his first steps in Advertising as a Copywriter in Leo Burnett Lima, to later assume the position of Senior Copywriter in the Peruvian branch of JWT. After deciding to move to the other side of the world (Lithuania, to be more precise), he continued his career as a Copywriter in Not Perfect Y&R Vilnius, to become, afterwards, a Senior Copywriter, and then a Creative Director, at MILK agency, in the same city. In 2017 he became a roaming freelancer, joining forces with the Latvian Art Director Janis Milzarajs, and founding Bechtle & Milzarajs, a task force open to collaborate both with agencies and clients around Europe. Parallel to it, he also joined forces with the Spanish film director Luis Velasco, creating Clandestinos, a guerrilla style production house specialised in high quality low budget productions.
During his years as an advertiser he worked for clients like Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Kimberly-Clarke and the Government of Peru, just to name some of them. Apart from being awarded with several national and international prizes, including New York Festival, Piran Idea, White Square, Golden Hammer and BalticBest, his work has been selected in some of the most important specialised magazines and blogs, including Shots and Lürzer’s Archive, in which’s international ranking of copywriters he stood on the third position in the last five years.
Apart from his work as a creative, he is also the Head Teacher of the Creativity course at The Atomic Garden Vilnius, the advertising school where he trains new creatives in order to raise the level of the industry in the region.
In the first year, five of his student’s works were selected by the prestigious Lürzer’s Archive, and two of them were on the top five of this magazine’s Student of the Year Award.×
Natalia, is an Art Director, Illustrator, Ad Teacher and Activist with a wealth of experience spanning several years. She has been teaching Art Direction at The Atomic Garden in Madrid, Spain and Vilnius, Lithuania as well as Advertising Creativity for CultureCode Lagos. Natalia has worked for some of the most remarkable agencies in Spain like La Despensa, and in Beijing she helps western clients to advertise in China.
As independent Art Director, her activities are focused on generating ideas for NGOs and cultural organizations like ActionAid and Medialab Prado. She also partners with publishing houses as an illustrator. Some of her clients are Nobel, Cafes la Estrella, Pepe Jeans, ActionAid, Yorokobu, Red Cross, Brugal and Burger King.
Natailia has won several national and international awards including: Laus, Gràffica, Cannes Lions, El Sol Festival & EFI.
Daniel is a self-taught creative entrepreneur from Lagos with experience spanning marketing communications and creative strategy. He is a founding partner and creative director of Surkreo, a growth marketing company in Lagos that combines practical understanding of the demands of its clients markets with the broadest possible imaginative scope.×
Maurice Ugwonoh, Creative Director at Noah's Ark Communications began his career as a copywriter at LTC-JWT and over the past 13 years, built a solid reputation for himself spanning Above The Line agencies such as LTC-JWT,
Rosabel-Leo brunette, DDB and Noah's Ark as well as Below The Line agencies like FKG2 and FCB Impact. During this time, Maurice worked on some of Nigeria's finest brands, turning less stately brands into trusted household names and expanding the frontiers for apex rated brands. Maurice is one of Nigeria's first creative duo to win an International Creative Festival Award with his Nike Foundation creative for Girl's Hub titled "Speechless" at the Epica awards 2012. Since then, Maurice has been a regular winner across African Cristal and Loeries awards. Maurice's work also have the distinction of being featured quite
regularly in global creative advertising compendiums and only last year, had one of his scripted TVCs for Airtel Nigeria titled "Lost" touted as among Top Most Humorous Ads in the world in 2017 by ADweek.
Patick Gomes - CEO, digitXplus
Patrick has over 20+ years of experience, blended with Best of Both World (i.e. Online & Offline Media), has worked with various Media Agencies in different roles/functions, handling diverse portfolio of Clients/Categories and fortunate enough to work in diverse Markets i.e. India, Middle East and now in Nigeria/West Africa for over 4 years.

Rakesh is a seasoned Media & Communications Professional with over 18+ years of experience across India, West & Central africa and the APAC. He is currently working with Havas Media, Vietnam as Managing Director. He moved to Vietnam about 2 + years ago after an illustrious 3 and half years stint at Omnicom in West & Central Africa where he successfully set up the Ghana Operations and led the Strategic Media Planning & Insights for Omnicom for the region. He started his career in the media industry in the year 1999 and has largely spent his time with leading media agency groups including Group M, Omicom and Publicis .
Rakesh's expertise lies in bringing Integrated & Innovative media & communication solutions backed by strong Data, Digital, Insights & Content strategy and has successfully led many integrated connections & brand activation strategies for many flagship brands & categories like FMCG (Unilever & GSK) Telecom (Vodafone; Etisalat, Airtel); Airlines ; Automobiles; pharmaceuticals and many more. He has an exceptional track record of operational excellence meeting clients business objectives (driving sales & leads) and has won prestigious media awards like Emvies; Goa Fest, Global BP Media Innovations awards.×
Seyi is a multiple award winning creative, with several works published in International Advertising Archives.
He had his first degree from the University of Ibadan, and a Masters in Marketing Communication from the Pan-Atlantic University.
Seyi also possesses several certifications in Oracle Database management and he's also Autodesk certified.
He was Awarded "Best in Show" when he attended the Miami Ad school, Berlin. Seyi started his career in banking from which he moved to a multinational FMCG and then he found
his love in Advertising.
He has worked on several brands and won multiple awards for his works on most of them. Some of the brands he has worked on include;Guinness, Orijin, Johnnie Walker, Indomie, Paga, Access Bank, GOtv, LG, Power Pasta, Smirnoff, Snapp, Harp,Glo,Dulux,Hypo,Chicken Republic,SWIFT Networks,MTN, InterSwitch and a host of others.

A full week of career boosting activities, learning and competitions for young professionals of 30 and below. Competitions within the Academy include Young Lions Competitions and Young Pitcher Integrated Competition. Winners of the Young Lions Competitions get to represent the country at the international finals in Cannes, France while winners of the Young Pitcher Integrated Competition get an all-expense-paid trip to Dubai Lynx.
